Welcome to BackspaceX Events (https://events.backspacex.com), an event registration and ticketing platform operated by BackspaceX, Bangladesh.

By accessing this website, registering for an event, or purchasing a ticket, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About BackspaceX Events

BackspaceX Events is an official platform for publishing, managing, and facilitating registrations and ticket bookings for:

• Events independently organized by BackspaceX.
• Events jointly organized by BackspaceX and its co-organizing partners.

This platform is not an open third-party event marketplace. Only events in which BackspaceX participates as an organizer or co-organizer are eligible for publication.

2. Event Information

We aim to provide accurate information regarding each event, including its title, description, date, time, location, registration requirements, ticket prices, and applicable conditions.

Event details may be updated when reasonably necessary. Material changes will be communicated to affected registered participants through available contact channels.

3. Registration and Ticket Booking

• Participants must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
• Tickets and registrations are subject to availability.
• A booking is confirmed only after successful registration or payment confirmation, as applicable.
• Tickets may be issued electronically through email, the website, or other designated channels.
• Participants must present a valid ticket, QR code, or registration confirmation when requested.
• Duplicate, fraudulent, altered, or unauthorized tickets may be rejected.

Any event-specific eligibility requirements, age restrictions, or registration conditions will be stated on the relevant event page.

4. Ticket Pricing and Payments

Some events may be free, while others require paid registration or ticket purchases.

• Ticket prices will be displayed before checkout.
• Applicable taxes, payment processing fees, or other mandatory charges will be disclosed before payment.
• Payments may be processed through authorized third-party payment service providers.
• BackspaceX does not guarantee successful payment authorization by a bank or payment provider.
• Participants should retain their payment confirmation for reference.

5. Event Participation

All participants are expected to maintain respectful and lawful conduct.

BackspaceX and its co-organizers may deny entry or remove participants who engage in harassment, violence, fraud, disruptive behavior, or violations of event rules, subject to applicable law.

Participants must follow reasonable venue safety instructions and any event-specific guidelines.

6. Event Changes, Postponements, and Cancellations

BackspaceX or the relevant co-organizing team may modify, postpone, relocate, or cancel an event when reasonably necessary.

If a material change occurs, affected participants will be notified using available contact information.

Refund eligibility and procedures are governed by our Event Refund & Cancellation Policy and applicable law.

7. Refunds and Ticket Transfers

Refunds, cancellations, and ticket transfers are subject to the Event Refund & Cancellation Policy and any clearly disclosed event-specific terms.

Tickets are not transferable unless the event rules expressly permit transfers or BackspaceX authorizes a transfer.

Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable consumer rights under applicable law.

8. Co-Organized Events

For jointly organized events, BackspaceX may collaborate with other organizations in event planning, registration, ticketing, promotion, communication, and operations.

The participating organizations and their responsibilities may be identified on the event page.

BackspaceX will coordinate with its co-organizers to address participant inquiries and event-related issues. Any allocation of operational responsibilities between organizers does not remove participants’ rights under applicable law.

9. Photography and Recording

Events may involve photography, audio recording, or videography for documentation, reporting, or promotional purposes.

Where recording takes place, appropriate notices will be provided. Any use of identifiable participant images or recordings will be subject to applicable privacy requirements and necessary permissions.

Participants may contact BackspaceX regarding privacy concerns related to event media.

10. Intellectual Property

Website content, event materials, logos, designs, graphics, and other intellectual property belong to BackspaceX or their respective rights holders.

Unauthorized reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use is prohibited without appropriate permission, except where permitted by law.

11. Website Availability

We aim to maintain reliable access to the platform but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Temporary maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control may affect availability.

12. Liability

BackspaceX and its co-organizers will take reasonable steps to manage events safely and responsibly.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, BackspaceX is not responsible for losses arising solely from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability arising from negligence, misconduct, or violations of mandatory consumer protection requirements.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the applicable laws of Bangladesh.

Any disputes will first be addressed through reasonable efforts at amicable resolution. Where necessary, disputes may be referred to the competent courts or relevant authorities of Bangladesh.

14. Changes to These Terms

BackspaceX may update these Terms & Conditions periodically.

The latest version will be published on this website. Material changes affecting existing bookings will be communicated where required, and changes will not retroactively remove established legal rights.
